Revere Taylor hails from Santa Fe, New Mexico. After learning about opera during several summers working as an usher at Santa Fe Opera, he attended the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland before returning to his home state and graduating with a Bachelor of Music from New Mexico State University. Revere went on to earn his Master of Music degree from University of Northern Colorado, where he was also an apprentice artist at Opera Fort Collins. After spending two summers with Opera Classica Europa in Germany, he came to the Pacific Northwest, where he currently resides, on a bluff overlooking the Salish Sea west of Seattle. He is a regular chorister at Seattle Opera, where he has appeared in 15 mainstage productions, 2 minor roles, and numerous educational outreach performances. Revere recently completed a six-year tenure as the lead singer of the acclaimed power metal band Greyhawk, with whom he performed across the Pacific Northwest and at heavy metal festivals worldwide.
